Made in the likeness of the Labatt Mini Stanley Cups, the Kenora Thistles was not originally made as part of the set. The Thistles hold the distinction of being both the smallest town and the last amateur team to win the Stanley Cup, doing so in 1907.
Fun fact: Well, not so fun for Joe Hall but Joe played on the Kenora Thistles that won the Stanley Cup in January 1907 versus the Montreal Wanderers. Hall later went to the Wanderers (1918 arena burned down/team folded) then subsequently to the Canadiens in 1919 where he died during the Stanley Cup final. The Cup was not awarded that season.
